This project is about Interactive Wearable Installation Presented In A Performance Art.
We want to talka about the fragility and loneliness of an individual’s life. However, when a person steps into the outer world, investigates the environment and interacts with the others, different perspectives and ideas may collide. Outer impacts merging with personal boundaries, it is the moment that unlimited potential possibilities are breaking out and even influencing the world.
This project has three main parts - wearable installation, circuit (TouchDesigner and Arduino), and performance.
Sensors mounted on wearable installtion would influence the visual effect
Performance
Space Setting:
A private open space with a circle of chairs

Before Entry the Performance
- Audience who are willing to have a close interaction with the performance (willing to have hand attachment) will take a brace band from a plate at the entry. There will be a sign at the entry;
- Introduction for the theme before the performance starts. (Maybe a poster explanation on the wall also);
- Explicit Instruction about interaction and no touching rule except hands;
- Three light torches will be given to audiences, they can pass light torches during the performance;
- Light torches are for lighting up the metallic structure, and that will help them to observe the structure better and trigger the light sensors;
Performance Story Line:
- in a relatively dark open space
- The performer is freezing in the front of the space alone quietly, waiting for all the audiences sit down.
- The light will be turned on and turned off twice to inform the audiences that the performance starts.
- Music is up, and the performer starts to move slowly. The elementary visual effects emerges.
